Not the best sketch so far but having fun playing with setting the limitations — when you have the power of a computer then even a simple rule can be generated thousands of times which makes something interesting.

Draw a square that doesn't touch any other square and then a line from square to the previous square, if there was one.

The lack of a mathematician in me made it take some time to figure out the collision detection which isn't perfect (it's basically based on the diagonal point to point distance of the square).
